11.09.2019: welcome speeches, historical background & international monitoring strategy by Director WGMS, status reports on national implementation by NCs
12.09.2019: workshops on (i) reanalysing glacier mass balance series, (ii) national and global glacier inventories, (iii) data submission to WGMS and GLIMS, (iv) glacier monitoring for water resource management and disaster risk reduction, (v) strengthening the regional monitoring network
13.09.2019: excursion & public outreach

Visa requirements
Participants are responsible for their visa applications. A copy of the passport, arrival and departure dates are needed.
Accomodation
A shared room accommodation for the participants is booked at Hotel Almaty and covered by the organizers from 10.09.2019 to 14.09.2019. Additional nights before or after the meeting need to be organized and payed by the participants.
